Interval of sending RNR (Receive Not Ready)

Hi everyone,

First of all, I may misunderstanding about RNR (Receive Not Ready) function, substantially there might not be concept of sending interval for RNR though, I posted it to clear my question.

HOST ---- STUN/SDLC ---- Cisco 2621XM (IOS version 12.1.19)

Above environment, HOST has received RNR from Cisco 2621XM every 20 msec.

Can I change the interval of sending RNR on Cisco Router ?

Thank you very much for your reply.

HOST disconnect SDLC link if the HOST receives eight (8) RNRs from the router.

So HOST side engineer want to decrease of receiving RNRs from the router as much as possible and does not want to change the threshold of receiving RNRs from eight (8) to more on the HOST side.

I do not know why he dose not want to change the threshold.
