Invalid device id: Slot0

Hi,

Can someone please help, I am wanting to configure an 877 Router but when powering on I get the following Message;

Invalid device ID: Slot0

Then the router proceeds to reboot I have tried to boot into ROMMON but without any joy. Also unable to type anything in IOS as it just goes to that point and reboots.

Has anyone got any suggestions to get around this Problem.

Keep On handy Cisco IOS for 877 Router.. If you are able to intiate DEL or ESC (For Rommon mode Prompt).. Go into rommon mode. Delete - Sqeeze the IOS from Slot0: .....and upload freash IOS into samr card.
