IOS COMPABILITY WITH HARDWARE

HI ALL

i HAVE 2600 Router with flash c2600-i-mz.122-15.T11.bin and unused ethernet module NM-1E.

I want to move this NM-1 E to another 2610 XM router, i know that this NM-1E module is also supported in

2610 XM, but i am planning to upgrade the IOS to c2600-advipservicesk9-mz.123-26.bin in 2610 XM rouer

My question is this IOS supports NM-1E, please let me know how to check IOS comatability with Hardware

thanks Adhi

Re: IOS COMPABILITY WITH HARDWARE

Hello Adhi,

there is a Cisco tool called software advisor that can be used for this type of check

http://tools.cisco.com/Support/Fusion/FusionHome.do

you may need more then guest CCO account

choice find software compatible with my HW

then select config manually specify router c2600 model c2610XM

However, the answer is yes it is supported

Hope to help

Giuseppe
