Hi gurus,

what is the ios version that supports wccp for my gsr's? I have the ff:

1. cisco 12406/PRP (MPC7457) processor (revision 0x00) with 3670016K bytes of memory.

2.

cisco 12416/PRP (MPC7457) processor (revision 0x00) with 3670016K bytes of memory.

Hello Jeff,

when we consider a GSR for its distributed architecture it is important to know what linecards you have on the chassis.

Exactly as when you asked about PBR.

If you have engine2 linecards (3GE engine2) there is no chance to support WCCP.

We tested this with web caches some years ago.

with other engines it may be but I'm not sure.

in table 4-1 of the following GSR is not listed

So I think you need a C7600 for supporting WCCP.

I tried also to use feature navigator

then search by feature

search WCCP vers 2

but the list of platforms don't include 12000.
