ip forward-protocol udp echo

  was looking for documentation to explain "ip forward-protocol udp echo " however, i receive info on everything except for the actual "echo" portion. essentially i am trying to find out if i need it or not.

correct , i will not need it.  i was strickly looking for cisco IOS and etc and did not look into echo protocol. thanks.
