ip sla 1 & ip sla 2 please explain me in 2821 router.

Dear Experts,

Please explain me this bellow configuration in 2821 router at one of the our customer. why they are configure bellow mention configure what is the indicate please explain me cause i have also same router and two ISP bandwith with BGP routing, i also need load sharing between both ISP and failover when one ISP Bandwoth goes down that time my network not down it up auto working ISP bandwith. so what the configure templates as per my required ans also explain me what is indicate bellow mention configuration Please Please.

ip sla 1

icmp-echo 10.1.15.25 source-interface FastEthernet0/2/0

timeout 1000

threshold 40

frequency 3

ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now

ip sla 2

icmp-echo 97.24.11.58 source-interface Serial0/1/0

timeout 1000

threshold 40

frequency 3

ip sla schedule 2 life forever start-time now

ip sla

is just a tag, tag can be referenced in scheduler or in track:

track rtr

ip sla schedule ..

Hi Vaib,

- Am I right assuming that you are running BGP between your 2821 router and two ISPs and receive default routes from both ISP?. If so, enabling BGP multipath will install both the default routes (assuming all BGP attributes are same for both default prefix) into your routing table. Load balancing and failover will be taken care if you have 2 default entry in your routing table.

IP SLA is a IOS inbuilt tool that can be used for measuring network performance.Below is the link for IP SLA configuration guide,

Dear Nagendra,

can i configure in bgp routing  maximum path 2 command then it's autometic load balance between both ISP bandwidth on equal cost ??

and please i request to you pl can give me confige templates of bellow mention detail of two ISP bandwith with BGP

My BGP ASN 2.132

My Network 113.223.69.0/22

ISP-1 ASN  10101

Neighbor IP 220.223.97.150

ISP-2 ASN 9823

neighbor IP 97.23.150.129

so what is the configure template in bgp above mention details .
