Pretty sure the answer is "yes", but is there a special license required to configure IP SLA monitors in IOS 15.1?  I'm trying to do this on a 2921 running

15.1(4)M7, ipbase feature set.

Router(config)#ip sla ?

key-chain  Use MD5 Authentication for IP SLAs Control Messages

  responder  Enable IP SLAs Responder

  server     IPPM server configuration

Hi,
You have a licensing issue - to use IP SLA monitoring you need at least the IP Data or Security license on your 2911. IP Base does not support IP SLA monitoring.

Looks that way.  UCK9 version must also work too, on a different 2921 with that license I see this:

(config)#ip sla ?

  <1-2147483647>          Entry Number

  auto                    IP SLAs Auto Configuration

  enable                  Enable Event Notifications

Yeah.  Kind of a bummer.  I consider SLA monitoring a pretty mainstream feature and don't see why you'd need a license upgrade for it.

What really puzzles me is they seem to be fully supported with a UC, directly contradicting the documentation.  Could be a bug.
