IPv6 Anycast with routing protocol or static only

Dear all, what the technical different on how router works when dealing with ipv6 anycast address? in order to implement ipv6 anycast, does the router need ospf,rip,etc to perform anycast routing.

Anycast allows the nearest service from a requester to respond that request.

IPv6 Anycast does require you to configure some kind of routing, either static or dynamic.
