IPV6 Multicast Group

I was trying to treat a  question on multicast. The multicast group address is lets say FE80:4000:4000 and static RP is being used. I observe that the IPv6 ACL used to define the multicast group on each router is FE80:4000:4000/127. I dont understand why the book choose 127. What should be used in a case like this where the prefix-length is not given.
