IS-IS into routing table

Hi,

Im new to IS-IS, and Im trying to work out how IS-IS routes get into the routing table? I read that IS-IS is working at layer 2. I am following the cisco press BSCI exam certifcation guide, but I must be missing a command or something because my configuration does not end up in the routing table.

For example:

!

interface Serial1/0

no ip address

encapsulation frame-relay

serial restart-delay 0

no dce-terminal-timing-enable

!

interface Serial1/0.1 point-to-point

ip address 140.100.32.2 255.255.255.0

clns enable

frame-relay interface-dlci 931

!

interface Serial1/0.3 point-to-point

ip address 140.100.16.2 255.255.255.0

clns enable

frame-relay interface-dlci 631

!

router isis

net 49.0002.0000.0000.000b.00

!

R2#show clns inter

Serial1/0 is up, line protocol is up

CLNS protocol processing disabled

Serial1/0.1 is up, line protocol is up

Checksums enabled, MTU 1500, Encapsulation FRAME-RELAY

ERPDUs enabled, min. interval 10 msec.

RDPDUs enabled, min. interval 100 msec., Addr Mask enabled

Congestion Experienced bit set at 4 packets

CLNS fast switching enabled

CLNS SSE switching disabled

DEC compatibility mode OFF for this interface

Next ESH/ISH in 2 seconds

Any help appreciated

Ross.

Ross,

You are missing the "Ip router ISIS" command under the interfaces.

HTH, rate if it does
