Is it OK to hook 3845, 3750 onto 208V power strip?

I know that equipment router 3845, 3750, 1841 lists 110V-240V range.

I got a UPS which delivers 208V output. I do not have money to buy transformer.

If I provide a power strip connected to the UPS, then I get the cable which fits into the power strip (it sounds like flat pins, used on servers) is that OK?

Someone told me that 208V is too much for the Cisco gear, but the manual lists up to 240V so that I don't see that as a problem. Please confirm.

You should be good. I've run ASA's, 2811's, etc off of 208V without a problem. Verify it shows the proper volts near the power supply and you should be set. If not, there's always SmartNET. :) "Someone told me"...ask them to reference a guide, document, etc.

Hello Marlon,

here in europe our AC is 220V 50Hz and we power Cisco devices with it.

I think we have just a different power cord not a different AC power supply.

it is within the range so it should be fine
