Is it possible that access ASA5500 firewall mangement port in Windows 7?

Hi every expert,

It's a problem about access ASA5500 Firewall mangement port.

The customer request access ASA5500 by entering the default IP address https://192.168.1.1 to monitor data tracffic in Windows 7. But after entering the default IP in IE, no any page appear.

But that way can access ASA5500 magement port successfully in Windows XP.

What the different between Windows 7 and Windows XP? Is there any way or any patch can access ASA5500 manemeng port in Windows 7?

Hi Alain,

I logged in as administrator, IE prompt that couldn't display this page. The firewall locate between factory network and top network, customer want to mornitor the data flow by accessing the firewall SNMP.

could you post output of show run http  and show run asdm on the ASA  as well as the version of JRE you have on windows 7.

Sorry for I could not post output now because I had left the site but I can ask customer offer it.

One week ago, I have checked the IE different of Windows 7 and Windows XP, I found Windows 7 has no JAVA in IE properities. Is it the reason that couldn't access firewall magement port in Windows 7?
