Is load balancing on OSPF enabled by default?

Hello,

I just wanted to make sure that load balancing is enabled by default on OSPF like EIGRP. When I search on google for an answer all I recieve is information on maximum equal cost paths.

Thank you very much for your time.

Ospf will load balance

Ospf will load balance automatically if it found 2 equal metric paths to reach a network.

If you are talking about

If you are talking about "unequal cost load balancing" on EIGRP. This feature is NOT available in OSPF.

On all protocols (with special case for EIGRP), load balancing happens when router finds path to a network with equal cost or metric.

If you have two paths, but one path has a different cost. Try changing it, Either:

changing interface's bandwidth:
#interface f0/1

  #bandwidth <value>

or cost

#interface f0/1

  #ip ospf cost <value>
