Hi,
Here in the UK, BT provide us with an MPLS WAN, which we have 1500 837 routers connecting on ADSL. Essentially, does the reported link speed on the 837, as seen on a show int or snmp get on the atm0.1 and atm0.0 interfaces actually reflect the configured speed of the ADSL connection we are paying for? obviosuly i'm aware of contention ratios and such, but we are officially paying for some 2Mbps links but a scan of our estate shows that the highest link speed actually being reported by any 837 is 800kbps, not 2048kbps...
does this descrepancy fully entitle us to bang down their door for being mischarged, or can the ifSpeed values not be accurate?
Thanks
Chris
