ISDN at 128kbps

Hi,

I would know if Cisco Router 1721 support ISDN backup at 128kbps.

I read that cisco 2600 don't support because those router don't support channel aggregation. But i don't know if my 1700 support it.

I try to insert on my router:

isdn leased-line bri 0 number 128

but with thi configuration my backup line don't work!

If I remove isdn leased-line bri 0 number 128, the line backup work fine but work at 64kbps!!

Can you help me?

Re: ISDN at 128kbps

Hello,

you could use PPP multilink, which bundles both your B-channels, effectively giving you 128kbps.

interface BRI0

ppp multilink

ppp multilink links minimum 2

This would configure PPP multilink on your physical BRI interface, with both channels coming up immediately.
