Re: ISDN problem

Please run this command and see if you connect:

isdn test call interface dialer#

And your Dialer20 is in shutdown state, make sure you remove it of course.

Thx,

OW

Re: ISDN problem

Brad,

One more thing.....couple more questions:

what is the purpose of using

isdn point-to-point-setup and isdn calling number in your setup ?

In cisco documentation it says isdn calling number used to configure australian basic-ts013 switch but your current switch is

basic-net3

Please clarify.

Thanks,

OW

Re: ISDN problem

Hi OW,

In the documentation, the reference to australia switches is obsolete and out of context.

These commands can be used with any switch type and their purpose is:

isdn point-to-point-setup: sends the setups messages to 'unicast' TEI only. No need to change that - alternative would be send point-to-multipoint, that is to broadcast TEi 127.

isdn calling number: auto-explicative.

Hope this helps, if so please rate post!
