Key Proc process

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody had any information on 'hourly' spikes on CPU relating to the process Key Proc?

2561XM with 12.3.13 crypto code.

this probably has something to do with the crypto sa lifetime so I've changed that from 3600 (1hr) to 7200 (2hrs) to see what happens.

Ken,

From my experience, the "Key Proc" under "show proc cpu" is for Secure Shell Key Generation.

When you do a "show proc cpu", what are the values under 5Sec 1Min 5Min when you see the spike. Is there anyway, you could post the output of "show proc cpu".

these %'s taper off for the following hour until they basically average out to 0% 0% 0% and again 1hour later the CPU spikes to ~90% Key Proc.
