Killing My Router...

I dont know if anyone can aid me here, I had a 2811 router which i couldnt remember the password on an so as you do i went into rommon mode and put in the confreg value... but i did the wrong value 0x0214 and now my router just prints jargon.. any ideas? :D

hi!

Can you try different baud rates? Jargon is usually printed when baud rates mismatch. dont know if this confreg value changed any of that... but just to chk....

Hi,

Nandrekar is right try to change the baud rate in hyper terminal and check will all possible values you will able to log in and change the reg value.

Hi There

Are you sure you set it to 0x0214? According to my notes, this confreg value should yield a baud rate value of 9600 as bits 11 & 12 are set to zero.
