Re: L2 switch unreachable

Hi,

If you want to advertise a subnet into BGP you must do it with the network command or redistribute.

Can you tell us more about your topology and what is not working?

Regards.

Re: L2 switch unreachable

I am puzzled about the reference to BGP in this thread. It sounds to me like a case of connectivity on a locally connected subnet. So what does BGP have to do with it?

It would be very helpful if the original poster would post the configuration of the interface of the 7609 router connecting to the switches. I am wondering if it is really configured with a mask of 255.255.252.0 or whether it is configured with 255.255.255.0. It might also be helpful if the output of show arp on the router were posted.

Re: L2 switch unreachable

Thanks for helping & actually there is no problem from network side,

only one pc that switch isnt reachable,

may be some firewall or system level issue
