L2TPv3 performance on 7600 NPE-G1 card

Hi, I have a customer running L2TPv3 on an interface on the 7600 supervisor, which is an NPE-G1, and performance is not that good. I looked at the Routing perfomance product sheet, which shows this card to have around 500Mbps CEF performance, without any service enabled.

My question is how much reduction in the raw performance is L2TPv3 likely to have on this card, it sems that L2TPv3 throughput is less than 100Mbps, I understand that the supervisor doesn't offer any hardware acceleration for this service.

At this stage I'm also checking into fragmentation as well, its possible that may be an issue as well.

Do the ES or ES+ cards support L2TPv3 in hardware?
