I am trying to set up a separate LAN for public wifi and rather than the have them physically separate from our private LAN, I'd like to be able to have access to the AP's and UTM on this public LAN in order to monitor and maintain.
Here are the devices I will be using,
Cisco SB-200 50 Switch - main switch for our private LAN
3x Routers, going to use as Access Points
UTM Firewall Appliance
I'm thinking that what I would want to set up is set aside 6 ports on the switch on hteir own Vlan, connect the AP's to these assigned ports then connect to the UTM. I have never done this and not sure how to go about completing this setup, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
