License activation regarding data&security for Cisco 2900

Hi All..

We are about to install new cisco 2900 router very shortly. I would like to know following since I have not experience about Cisco 2900 router.

We purchaed the followings from vendor

S29Uk9-15102T

SL-29-DATA-K9

SL-29-SEC-K9

It seems like SL-29-* is the license for Cisco 2900 to activate data and security feature.

However, I would like to know How to activate these licenses on router.

Please let me know the process of activation.

You are right, those are security and SNA switching licencies for ISR G2. See any of the following guides for step-by-step instructions to activate the licencies:

Install the License with command 

#License install (license file location)

If your technology-package are disabled then enable with following command

(config)#license boot module c2900 technology-package <package name>

Write your configuration and reload command 

Verify your license with

#Show Version
