Line code violation errors on Cisco 2651 & 1760 routers

Hi all,

We are getting quite a bit of Line code violation errors on my routers. The 2651 router has VMIC 1MFF-T1 card with IOS version of 12.3(7)T4 and 1760 router has VMIC 2MFT-T1 card and IOS version of 12.3(14)T5.

Our ISP and local-loop carrier performed check on the circuits and everything is clean. TAC told us we are hitting CSCsb00129 (not sure what it's) and they recommended changing the IOS to any of the following

versions:

12.3(14)T04, 12.3(15.9), 12.4(3.1)T, 12.4(3), 12.4(3.3), 12.4(3.3)T, 12.3(11)T08, 12.4(01b), 12.4(2)T02.

Has anyone ran into this LCV problems?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or solutions!

It seems that Cisco has discovered a bug with your hardware. They recommend to go to those IOS's. That CSC number is the bug ID. If you copy/paste that into Cisco's bug toolkit you will see the details behind the problem and what Cisco recommends as the resolve.....I would change the IOS then work from there.....
