Hi

I have an router with two serial interfaces that connected both of them to ISP,

I want load balancing and failover backup for my lan users

(NAT configuration also is an issue)

Re: Load sharing

Hi,

some questions:

1- two serials to the same ISP?

2- have you got a routing protocol between your router and ISP?

Re: Load sharing

Well, the best solution is maybe a simple load sharing, and not load balancing.

My idea is:

- divide your LAN in group A and group B (2 ip acl, first permit group A, second permit group B)

- try something like:

ip nat inside source list group_A int s0

ip nat inside source list group_B int s1

more infos:

- then ip nat inside on your eth, and ip nat outside on both serials

the load sharing depends on group_A and group_B traffic ... Practice, but it works
