Hello All,
We've recently had the following messages on our log:
%EERP-5-HW_LIMIT_EXCEEDED: Adjusting exceed burst to match hardware limit of 16777215 bytes
SEC 5:Mon dd hh:mm:ss.sss: %EERP-5-HW_LIMIT_EXCEEDED: Adjusting exceed burst to match hardware limit of 16777215 bytes
We experience a total loss of traffic on our interfaces while we got this message. Not sure if this is just coincidence of this error might suggest why we lost connectivity.
I've been reading but could not find anything what this error means or what the reason is to be generated on a syslog.
Our internet router is a Cisco 12406.
Any suggestions, will be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
