Long Reach Ethernet (LRE), Compatibility with Meridian digital handsets

The release notes for the Cisco LRE 48 POTS Splitter states the following: Cisco LRE products are designed to share lines with analog, integrated services digital network (ISDN), and digital private branch exchange (PBX) switch telephones that use the 0 to 700 kHz frequency range. Due to the proprietary nature of digital PBX switches, some digital PBX switch services use frequencies above 700 kHz. [CSCdu73260]

Does anyone know if Meridian digital handsets work within this frequency range?

The operating frequency ranges of Meridian handsets is between 50 to 60 Hz autoranging.

This is the official Cisco line. Thanks for your post.
