Is it possible to create a loopback interface on a ASA 5510? If so how? I have looked in the manual and tried int loopback0 and that doesn't work.

Hi
AFAIK you will be able to create Vlan interfaces which is a logical interface instead of Loopback interface.

I do not believe that the ASA supports the concept of loopback interface that is common in IOS. Edwin is correct that the ASA does support configuration of VLAN interfaces. But I believe that the VLAN interface created would function only if the connection to the ASA were a trunk.
The loopback in IOS is an interface that is not associated with any physical interface or any physical dependency. I do not believe that the ASA supports this concept.
