Losing my eigrp routes on my head ends

Hey guys, I have a 7206VXR router running (C7200-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 12.4(20)T1

Over the last couple of days it's dropped the EIGRP routes (DMVPN) to all my branches.

When I do a sh ip route 10.X.X.X it doesn't show anything except for a few routes that it still knows about. I have to reboot the router as even "clear ip routes *) isn't causing the router to relearn the routes.

Any ideas?

Re: Losing my eigrp routes on my head ends

Hello Brent,

being a DMVPN I would try to check NHRP status on the device.

doing a search in bug toolkit with key parameters c7200 ios 12.4(20)T1 and search key DMVPN

there are some open bugs for DMVPN for example:

CSCsv43385

DMVPN Hub may loose connectivity w/ spokes due to wrong cef adj encap

check if you see incrementing output drops on hub router's tunnel interface.

this issue is fixed in 12.4(20)T2

possible workarounds are:

to delete the tunnel interface and to reconfigure it

or to remove tunnel mode gre multipoint and then to add it again in interface config mode.

There are other bugs related to DMVPN that may be a better match for your issue.

this looked like the more similar.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
