Hi,

No, this is a PA (Port Adapter), the PA support the Cisco 7200 series routers as well as VIP based Cisco 7000/7500 series routers.

HTH,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

If you want a T3 module for a 38xx series routers, you can go for a NM-1T3/E3

Just one more view to Mohd.'s point, any module which is a PA is by default 7200 Router Module.

Secondly, the DS-3 Module can come under two implementation i.e. ATM or Serial, depending upon the Service required / availability you should be bit careful regarding the correct part number.

However with respect to the NM T-3 Module there is no complication its available in Serial mode only (though support for ATM DXI exists)

Datasheet for the ATM NM

Please visit the PA-T3 Serial Datsheet:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2033/products_data_sheet09186a00800a3e07.html

And to know bit more about PA-A3 or ATM based PA, please visit the PA-A3 Datasheet

Hope that helps,

Kind Regards,

Wilson Samuel
