Managing bandwidth on WAN through microflow output policer

Hi,

I have a central site with a 6k5/Sup720 connecting many remote sites through leased lines (mostly 6k5/Sup720).

I would like to protect my WAN in configuring an output policer on both HQ router and remote site router.

For example, imagine on my central site connecting a 2 Mbits/s remote site with a 512 kbits/s visioconf endpoint :

Extended IP access list myVISIO

    10 permit ip any host 10.10.10.1

class-map match-all myVISIO

  match access-group name myVISIO

policy-map myTEST

  class myVISIO

   police cir 512000 bc 16000 be 16000    conform-action transmit     exceed-action transmit     violate-action transmit

  class class-default

   police cir 2048000 bc 16000 be 16000    conform-action transmit     exceed-action drop     violate-action drop

And on my remote site :

Extended IP access list myVISIO

    10 permit ip host 10.10.10.1 any

class-map match-all myVISIO

  match access-group name myVISIO

policy-map myTEST

  class myVISIO

   police cir 512000 bc 16000 be 16000    conform-action transmit     exceed-action transmit     violate-action transmit

  class class-default

   police cir 2048000 bc 16000 be 16000    conform-action transmit     exceed-action drop     violate-action drop

This should in theory do the work.

Starting with 15.1(2)SY I should be able to microflow policing in output (

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/15.1SY/config_guide/sup2T/qos_class_mark_police.html#Egress_Microflow_Destination-Only_Policing

)

But I am not able to understand the example.

Anybody could post a working example ?

Thanks,

Fred
