Maximum E1 Cards supported on 2811

Hello All,

Wanted to confirm maximum E1 ports supported on 2811 without any performance degradation.

2811 has 4 HWIC slots, i need 8 E1 ports to be connected to different sites.if i populate all 4 slots with VWIC2-2MFT-G703 which makes 8 E1 ports, Any performance issues??

C2811 is accredited of 120000 pps

ISR 2811 3,000 1.536 120,000 61.44 No

so from the performance point of view it shouldn't be a problem

the 4 slots can be used as you would like:

So it should work

depending on WAN provider prices in your region you may want to consider the use of a single NM E3 subrate instead of paying for 8 E1 links

E3 is not available from ISP.

Hi, you should use instead:

NM-8CE1T1-PRIor 2x HWIC-4T1/E1

Also in most cases the regular VWIC is OK, do not need the G703 version.
