Ramesh,    The refered link,

Ramesh,

The referred link, in section TABLE-5 is talking about specifications for network module which can hold one or two VIC cards. these VICs are daughter cards that install into the network modules. Cisco router 2911 can hold one IP Communications Voice/Fax Network Modules.

the attachment below shows that you can install 4 ( VIC2-4FXO )cards into your router. don't forget to use the cool tool from cisco DSP calculator to obtain your PVDM card capacity to use the 4 VICs.

The below link shows the VIC2

The below link shows the VIC2-4FXO is installed in any of the 4 Slots but  maximum of only 2 cards to be installed, is that correct,

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/ip-communications-voice-fax-network-modules/product_data_sheet0900aecd801c595e.html

Please refer in the section Table 5. Specifications for IP Communications Voice/Fax Network Modules on the above link.

Thanks,
