Maximum WS-X4506-GB-T in 4506?

The Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series Line Cards Data Sheet shows that a min/max of 6/12 ports can be installed in a 4506 using WS-X4506-GB-T's. Does that mean the 4506 only accommodates two WS0X4506-GB-T's?
