Hi,
"sh ver" not showing the DRAM size as 4 GB is expected. However, you can continue using 4 GB DRAM as it is supported.
"
Cisco IOS Software supports a maximum of 2 GB of addressable memory. More than 2 GB of memory will be available for future capabilities and features."
It will show up properly in the next generation IOS. (in development stage)

Hello Dheeraj ,
3945E, 3925E, 3945 and 3925 all support 4 G B DRAM but Cisco IOS Software supports a maximum of 2 GB of addressable memory. More than 2 GB of memory will be available for future capabilities and features. The next generation IOS will support the 4 GB. We know the 4 GB is installed and working because the 3900 Series uses symmetrical DIMM modules for increased performance, meaning that two identical DIMM modules must be installed into both DIMM slots at all times. And the router is recognizing the 2 GB which is the maximum it will recognize in software at this time. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/routers/ps10538/qa_c67_553891_ps10536_Products_Q_and_A_Item.html
Hope this helps,
Sruthi .
