Hi,

I'm getting quite a few error message like this:

%FIB-4-FIBCBLK: Missing cef table for tableid 196 during CEF samecable event

We have an MPLS-core and are using 3550 as L3 distribution switches running BGP. The error messages comes from some of the 3550-switches, but not all of them.

Any ideas or solutions?

Best regards,

Morten Madsen, Copenhagen Energy

OK, thanks, but what I really wanted to know was: has anybody experienced the same errors, and if so: how do I solve the problem?

Best regards, Morten Madsen

do u have VRF configured on your router ? Or all VRF config is on PE?(Router in concern) This means you have entris in FIb but does not have path in the routing table.

check sh ip cef | inc (error add)

Do u use any re-distribution in to BGP with access-list?

Like ospf routes re-distri in to mpls cloud?
