MLPPP across the 8 port E1 Cards..

Hi,

I am going to purchase a 7609 router for our backbone. I will be having multiple 8 port E1 cards. I know it support MLPPP for a single card across the 8 E1 port. Does it support MLPPP across the E1 cards for atleast 30 E1???

Or is there any better solution then MLPPP.

Any advise will be highly approtiated.

Hi

As per the supporting doc u can have a min of 2 E1 links which can go upto a max of 8 links in a multilink bundle.

So in that case u need to have 3 different bundles configured and need to either static routes configured thru them or to have some IGP configured to take care of the routing.
