Modem speed change

I configured aux 0 for my modem speed to 115200 but it kept changing to different speed. is there something I have to do in the modem to fix it?

Hi Alison,

You can try using the commands rxspeed 115200 and txspeed 115200 but it is more likely caused by the aux port getting the line speed from the modem. The autoconfigure script could be detecting the DTE port speed from the modem configuration. Does the aux port line speed remain at 115200 if you remove the command "modem autoconfigure type usrmodem" and you reconfigure the speed to 115200? If it does, then you will likely need to configure the modem DTE port speed by reverse telneting into the modem and using the AT command set.
