Hi,

Does MPLS IPVPN come with IP addresses assigned by the ISP or do you assign your own IP addresses at each point (location)? I can't find any information.

Thanks.

John,

You generally give them the addresses that you want to assign from the PE-CE perspective. You'll generally assign a /30 and then tell them what protocol you want to use for routing.

Depends on the service. My mpls provider gives us wan addresses and a bgp as to advertise our internal routes through.
