Hello Dear All

I have multi group of users in my network.

and I want to limit their bandwidth access via policy map and attach it to the interface.

but on every interface, we are able to attach one service-policy..

how can I define multi pocily on one interface?

You can do that by implementing Subinterface.

If in serial interface, use frame-relay encapsulation, than create subinterface.

If in Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet, use subinterface directly

Hi

Under a service policy , create different class maps for each group of users and police bandwidth to each class and apply the policy map to the interface.

Pls let me know if your design is different.
