Multicast feed

Hello, I am planning on setting up multicast in the lab. Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for a freeware multicast stream source. TIA

If by sources you mean software that you can install, then have a look at VLC and DarwinStreamingServer.

I have DarwinStreamingServer installed in the lab, but it turned out that for all multicast experiments I didn't need it - could just join routers to appropriate group and use mstat and ping for generating traffic.

I use VLC Media player testing multicast.
