I have a video conferencing/whiteboard app where each client both sends and subscribes to the exact same group. Is this normal in many to many applications? for example, you can see many sources sending to the same group, and these same sources all need to receive the other clients traffic on that same group:

PIM sparse mode appears to be forwarding the streams to all receivers, who are also sending to that group, but the multicast application is not behaving. App is Marratech. Should I be using bdir PIM instead of Dense Mode? Are there caveats to sending to a group and joining the same group?
