Multicast Requirements

What will be the minimum requirements for a multicast service? I have a 3640, just needed a response fast.

I probably do not understand well what you are really asking and want to know. But to answer the question at its face value, the minimum requirement for multicast service is to have a multicast source, to configure multicast routing (probably using dense mode), and to have multicast listeners.

If you can give us a better idea of what you are really after then we might be able to give you better answers.

Hi Rick,

Got the info here. We are trying to deliver data(audio+video) from one country to another. The scenario would be from here (source) with 2 destination (other countries). We already have encoders, the problem is how to distribute this data to 2 destinations.
