Multicaste Routing

Please help in creating config template for a multicaste routing.

From Server: 192.168.11.12

Multicaste address:239.0.0.1/5000

To seven different Branch offices

1.172.16.0.0/24

2.192.168.201.0/24

3.192.168.10.0/24

4.192.168.11.0/24

5.192.168.12.0/24

6.192.168.13.0/24

7.10.239.239.20/24

Hi

if branches are WAN connected u need to:

1-configure PIM all devices carrying traffic to ur branches from HQ site.

2-decide on which PIM mode u need sparse or dense ( maybe sparse-dense if u will use autodiscovery RP).

3-choose an RP is u choose sparse mode.

4-make sure there is a route for teh source.

Once you do this, multicast will be forwarded to ur branches regardless of Multicast address.

I suggest you read up a bit more on Multicast configuration, it shoudl be straightforward.
