multilink config question

Dears,

I have two routers pointing to each other (point to point router)

The  connections type between this routers is E1 (2mbps) now I have on one  of the routers extra E1 (10mbps) and I want to make the bandwidth  between this routers (12mbps)

In the attached diagram you will see my routers and interfaces.(on router2 fa0/0 will have the 10mbps)

Do you think Multilink technology will let me have this speed tighter and how can I configure it.

Thanks.

hi,

I guess, In multilink you can not bind ethernet interface with serial port......

how can confirm this please

yes, it is sure...

at ethernet interface we use link aggregation (etherchannel) and for serial we use multilink...

PPP and HDLC protocols are specially  desigend for this

Multilink configuration works only on Serial Interfaces.
