Multiple site VPN solution

Hi Experts!

Would like to ask for your opinion on how would I approach this kind of task.

I have 5 sites set-up as follows:

     Site1: Public IP (1.1.1.1) LAN IP (192.168.1.0/24)

     Site2: Public IP (2.2.2.2) LAN IP (192.168.2.0/24)

     Site3: Public IP (3.3.3.3) LAN IP (192.168.3.0/24)

     Site4: Public IP (4.4.4.4) LAN IP (192.168.4.0/24)

     Site5: Public IP (5.5.5.5) LAN IP (192.168.5.0/24)

Requirements:

     1. Inter-LAN connectivity between sites.

      2. Connections must be secure/encrypted.

     3. Can implement dynamic routing protocol, if possible.

     4. No help from MPLS.

I have been looking at trying to configure DMVPN, but if the hub-and-spoke style of DMVPN has a weak point. If the hub losses connectivity then, all other sites will loose connectivity as well.

Is there a technology similar to DMVPN that don't use hub-and-spoke? Like each site is independent of the other site to connect to other sites?

Thank you in advance for your opinions.

Regards,

novice

Thank you for your input Edison and David.

Will give it a read. Hope GETVPN will be the open standard solution, I have 1 device that is non-Cisco.

Re: Multiple site VPN solution

Cisco GETVPN is Cisco proprietary as far as I know so you will have issues with the non-Cisco device.
