Multiple VLANs on 851

Hi,

I am trying to setup a 851W router. It now seems that the current IOS version (12.4(4)T7) does noet support multiple VLAN interfaces. Is there any version that does support this? I can't find any.

Hello,

the 85x routers don't support VLANs. The 87x with adv. IP service IOS, do support VLANs.

I don't think there is on the 851

The 870 series do however. If there is an upgraded IOS it is an extra cost item and may also need a flash memory upgrade as well

No flash upgrade is needed on the 87x to host the "advanced ip services" image.
