Hi,

Anyone knows the Nexus hashing algorithm for the following:

1. Etherchannel hashing alrogorithm of Nexus 7000 particularly linecard N7K-M108X2-12L?

2. Equal cost multipath hashing?

Don't know if this will help:

I don't know what the default would be but I guess this will be a good start for you....

Thanks

What if Im using just a single N7K? No VPC?

I believe you can just add L4 to the hashing.

Catch is, my destination IP will be a single VIP of the application.

So more or less, it will eat up a single link.

I'm thinking of using L3 ECMP instead if it might give a better hashing than etherchannel bundles.
