NAT Query

Hi All,

I have a query as follows:

X NET (100.200.1.X) ------[(NAT outside int)-NAT Router-(NAT inside int)] ------- Y NET (192.168.1.X)

Suppose I have configured NAT to translate 192.168.1.x network to 100.200.1.X.

If I ping/trace from X NET on NATted IP who will answer for that ping reply?

Is it NAT router or destination host of Y NET?

I would be thankful If someone can provide a good documents link on different NAT scenarios.

Thanks & Regards,

Amolak
