Hi
If i would like to know the timeout of dynamic NAT on my router , what's the command i should use ? and if i haven't set the timout , by default what's the timeout value of dynamic NAT translate ?

Hi,
AFAIK if you have not configured overloading the default time out would be 24 hours.
To change the default timeout, enter the following commands :-
- enable
- configure terminal
- ip nat translation timeout 'seconds'

Hi!
AFAIK the timeout still remains the same for dynamic NAT with overloading. The only thing is that you have greater control in changing the default time out period when using overloading. So you can change the default time out for each entry.
Enter the following commands to change the default timeout period when using overloading:
- enable
- configure terminal
- ip nat translation udp-timeout 'seconds'
- ip nat translation dns-timeout 'seconds'
- ip nat translation tcp-timeout 'seconds'
- ip nat translation icmp-timeout 'seconds'
- ip nat translation syn-timeout 'seconds'
- ip nat translation finrst-timeout 'seconds'
