I am using NBAR to "match protocol ftp" as part of a QoS configuration on one of our routers. However, I need the ftp server/service to listen on port 9082 rather than the usual. I can't get the router to match any packets under this scenario. It works ok if I configure the ftp server with default ftp port settings. Does anyone know whether I should be able to use NBAR or will I have to use an acl and match on port 9082?
We could use the class-map command to define one or more traffic classes by specifying the criteria by which traffic is classified. The better option would be to use access list allowing port number 9082.
